Other than being a fun project, recycling of old watches is a great way to reduce and reuse wastes. Being easy on environment, this is the current trend. With this thought, my cousin Victoria has started buying old and broken watches from the roadside market for the last few years.
Creating anything calls for playing with your imagination, and Victoria has a knack for thinking out of the box. She makes real art pieces using the gears and other parts of the old watches. These were made by hand involving labor ranging from 2 to 14 hours depending on the jewelry.
Inspired by the movements of the vintage watches, she has converted some watches that belonged to the time of her great-grandfather and older, into amazing pieces of jewelry. This page includes images of her recent creations for you to scroll and enjoy.
