Before we look at the books by Richard T. Schaefer, we will learn some things about him. T. Schaefer spent his childhood years in Chicago. At that, time neighborhoods were experiencing changeovers in ethnic and cultural composition. The happenings intrigued him. The reaction of the people and the way that such changes were affecting areas and people’s occupations interested him. While attending high school, he did a sociology course. His curiosity in social matters made him do more sociology programs at North-western Academy. He ended up with a B.A. in the subject. However, the books by Richard
T. Schaefer were still some way to go.
His continuing curiosity in race associations made him write down his master’s theory on the affiliation of “Ku Klux Klan.” It also made him write his doctoral argument on ethnic partiality and race associations in the UK. He proceeded to become an instructor in sociology.
Among the Richard T. Schaefer written works are Race and Ethnicity in the United States, Second Edition, the eighth edition of Sociology, and the fifth edition of Sociology: A Brief Introduction. Reviews of many of the Richard T. Schaefer written works have come out in several journals.
